Habib Media Awards 2012

For the Habib Awards I made a short film on 'go green'. In the video I showed the different ways that the UAE households use to recycle things and how energy can be saved, to save our planet and our future.

Project Eight: Stop Motion Video, Split-Complementary Color Scheme

For this stop motion video I chose to a stop motion of a plant with purple flowers to follow the split complementary scheme. I clicked a range of photos of the plants in a moving sense to create a proper stop motion video. And I chose a plant because of my topic that is 'go green'.

Project Five: One Colored Public Service Announcement Video

For this project I had to choose a serious topic, so I chose 'Go Green'. The video is supposed to be of one color and one tint or tone of the color and no other colors. I chose green color because my topic was go green, and i used a tint of green color. My actor did deliver lines about the topic in an original and clear way.

Project Seven: Controlled Color, Interviewing Someone in the Field

For this I had to interview a person from the environmental field. So I interviewed my aunt who is an environmental engineer in the US and she is has been working also in this field for quite sometime.And she knows everything related to go green.

Project Six: Cause and Effect, Change of Emotion, Telling a story through Close-ups

For this project I had shoot a single short narrative based on my topic go green.  So I showed all the ways how the earth's resurces are wasted like electricity, water, garbage (pollution). Then I showed the solutions to it to go green and to help save the planet earth.

For this project I had to create my own blog representing all my in a professional way. And that's what I have done here, made a blog and posted all my projects on it.

Project Three - Complex, Creative Color Wheel

ITTEN STAR

In this complex creative color wheel I used  the design of a flower and a star together to make it look different. The design of the color wheel looks a flower with pointed sharp petals and not round. This color wheel showed all the tints and the tones correctly of the hues. And all the mixing was done only using the three primary colors red, blue and yellow to get the secondary and tertiary hues. To get the tints of the hues white was used and to get the tones of the hues black was used. I think i was pretty successful is creating a proper color wheel with all its tints and tones.
